This website came about as a result of the difficulty I had, and indeed still do have, in identifying the different species of birds that visited our garden in Terenure, in the suburbs of Dublin.
I started to take some photos, mostly out of the kitchen window, and was amazed at the variety of visitors our birdfeeder attracted.
Also, please let me know if you notice any birds being wrongly identified here. This is a definite work in progress and any help would be much appreciated.
The ads you see at the top and bottom are used to help fund the site. In the unlikely event of any surplus, the extra would go to charity.
